- For optimal performance, apply MagPlay to clean, smooth, non-absorbent surfaces like painted walls (matte, satin, velvet finish), smooth wood, melamine, glass walls, and doors.
Avoid using MagPlay in outdoor environments, humid spaces, or on textured surfaces like plaster, structured or embossed wallpaper, stain-repellent technology paints, fibreglass, brick, or lacquer-painted surfaces. - Unsure about your wall type? Check our Wall Compatibility Guide
- Need extra flexibility moving your MagPlay around? Add an MDF Board to your order.
- Before applying your magnetic decal, ensure your wall is primed for a successful installation. It should be clean, in good
condition, and completely dry. - Avoid installing in areas with high humidity, excessive sun exposure (which may affect the adhesive), or walls prone to grease buildup, such as kitchens.
It's crucial to acknowledge that while we take all necessary precautions, the application and removal of the adhesive may carry minimal risks. We recommend exercising extra caution when applying it to painted surfaces and ensuring the quality of both the undercoat and finishing
paint.

How to remove my MagPlay Decal it from the wall:
These simplified instructions should help you safely remove magnetic wall decals from your wall while minimizing the risk of damage.
Instructions:
1-Start at a Corner: Begin by choosing a corner of the magnetic wallpaper.
2-Apply Heat: Use a hair dryer on low heat and direct the warm air at the section you're peeling.
3-Peel Gently: Carefully peel the wallpaper from the side at a slight angle. Begin at a shallow angle to avoid damaging the wall.
4- Repeat the Process:
- Work your way along the wall, peeling and applying heat in small sections. Keep the wallpaper at a low angle to prevent wall damage.

The primary difference between MagPlay Magnetic Wall Decal and MagPlay Magnetic Wall Board lies in their application and flexibility:
MagPlay Magnetic Wall Decal:
- It is a self-adhesive magnetic sheet that you apply directly to your wall.
- It is not recommended for removal and reapplication, and it may not adhere well to certain wall types (please check our product description for more information).
- This option is ideal for a permanent magnetic solution on a suitable surface.
MagPlay Magnetic Wall Board:
- The Wall Board is a 3mm Arch-shaped MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) with the MagPlay Decal pre-applied.
- It provides flexibility by allowing you to use your choice of adhesive strips to attach it to the wall.
- This option offers the ability to reposition the magnetic board and can be a convenient solution for those who may want to change the board's location in the future.
Is it possible to remove and reapply my magnetic wall decal sheet?
At MagPlay, we do not recommend removing and reapplying the wall magnetic sheet as this may result in adhesive loss and potential damage to the wall.
Please note that MagPlay cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage. If you're looking for a more flexible alternative, consider exploring our magnetic wall board. It can be easily attached to the wall using classic frame hanging strips. Discover the versatility you've been seeking!
